Getting started / Help guide

Get started with the Trurep mobile app

Choose the right sign-in, find your role’s tools, and distinguish field work from manager catalog tasks.

Sign in to the right role and workspace

  1. Open Trurep and choose Agent for an invited field agent, Driver for an invited driver, or Manager for owners, administrators, and other invited management or custom roles.
  2. If you are joining by invitation, choose Enter invite code and enter your invited email and latest six-digit code. Review the displayed organization and role, then follow the account setup or existing-account sign-in steps.
  3. Select the intended organization and branch when available. The sign-in choice does not change the role assigned by your organization.

Managers: find setup and oversight tools

Managers and custom roles can use the mobile app for their permitted work, including product creation and editing when Manage products is enabled. The app is not only a field-agent or read-only dashboard companion.

  1. Use Dashboard, Team, Messages, Alerts, or Profile where your role exposes those tabs.
  2. Tap Menu to find your industry’s customer directory, follow-ups, sales, Products or Sales catalog, driver oversight, and insights according to your permissions.
  3. For catalog work, open Menu → Sales & products → Products → Add product. In Insurance, Education, or Finance use Menu → Sales & sales catalog → Sales catalog. Short menus can show the catalog directly. Fill the form and tap Save product.
  4. To edit an existing product, open its card → Product details → Edit product icon → Save product.
  • A manager label does not grant every feature. Product management, customer management, team activity, driver access, and billing are separate permissions.
  • Owners, administrators, and custom management roles do not automatically clock in as field agents. Role and organization setup options are in Profile → Organization where available.

Agents: start the field day and capture work

  1. Open My Day → Start Day while connected. Use Pause Day, Resume Day, or End Day as appropriate and wait for the successful status change.
  2. Use Check In to choose the designated customer or site, obtain a current location, capture the required site photo, and save the visit.
  3. Use Sales or Recorded sales → Log Sale when your workspace uses sales. Relationship industries put follow-ups prominently in the daily workflow.
  4. Open Profile → Sync queue to review pending agent records. A device-saved check-in or sale still needs to reach the server before managers can see or verify it.

Drivers: use shifts and deliveries

  1. Open Deliveries → Start shift when you are ready to share on-duty location. Starting a shift requires the appropriate tracking access and an assigned paid slot.
  2. Use Start delivery, select the destination, and follow the current allowance and location prompts while connected.
  3. Use End delivery and complete the required destination check-in and site photo. A shift and a delivery are separate: finishing a delivery does not itself end an active shift.
  4. Use Pause shift or End shift to stop on-duty sharing, and check that the action succeeded.

Prepare before losing signal

While connected, sign in to the intended workspace and let customer and product lists prepare. Check-ins, sales, and permitted catalog additions or edits can be saved locally for later delivery. Fresh sign-in, agent day changes, follow-up saves, and starting a delivery need a working server connection.

  • Read each screen’s saved, waiting, or error message; offline storage does not bypass a refused role or membership.
  • If a page or button is missing, check Menu, the industry label, the selected organization and branch, and your assigned permissions. Do not assume the action is web-only.
  • Keep the app installed and preserve its local data until pending work has synced.
  • Profile → Sync queue is available to built-in agents and drivers. Managers monitor pending catalog changes using Waiting to sync or Needs review product badges and reconnect or refresh; do not assume their Profile includes that shortcut.
