Interpret the map
The manager map shows the latest location received from the driver’s phone, the capture time, the server contact time, duty status, and an available recorded trail. It should be read with the freshness indicators before acting on a marker.
- An old GPS fix remains stale even if it uploads recently.
- A recent app heartbeat without a fresh GPS fix proves contact, not the driver’s current position.
- Gaps in a sparse or offline trail are missing evidence, not proof the driver followed or skipped a road.
- No app can show a live phone location while the phone is off, denied location access, or unable to obtain and send a fix.
