Trust the visit record

Know which field visits need a closer look

A visit should be more than a name on a daily list. Trurep records a rep’s check-in with the customer, GPS location, site photo and notes so managers have evidence to review.

Mock-location submissions are rejected as verified visits. On Growth and Enterprise, check-ins beyond your organization’s configured customer radius are flagged for review, helping the team focus on exceptions.

What your team can do

Spot location exceptions

Compare the recorded check-in with the customer’s registered location. A visit outside the configured geofence appears as an exception for a manager to inspect.

Review the full visit

See the customer, rep, recorded position, photo and notes together. This context makes it easier to understand an unusual check-in before deciding what happened.

Give follow-up a clear path

Use the visit review workflow to request an explanation, record a decision or ask for a return visit when appropriate. Keep the outcome with the original record.

From check-in to a fair review

  1. Keep customer locations accurate

Set up customers with the correct location. On eligible plans, choose a geofence radius that reflects the way your team reaches those sites.

  2. Capture evidence at the visit

The rep selects the customer and submits a location, site photo and notes in the mobile app. The check-in can be saved offline and evaluated after it syncs.

  3. See flagged or rejected activity

Trurep records mock-location results and compares eligible visits with the customer geofence. Managers can filter check-ins and focus on the records that need attention.

  4. Resolve with context

Review the evidence and any explanation from the rep, then record the outcome. A flag starts a review; it does not settle the question by itself.

Questions about anti-fraud for field visits

What happens when a phone reports a mock location?

Trurep marks that check-in as rejected rather than verified. Managers can review the resulting record and talk with the rep if more context is needed.

Does an out-of-radius visit prove fraud?

No. It flags a difference between the recorded location and the registered customer location. A manager should review GPS accuracy and the visit evidence before recording an outcome.

Can we change the geofence radius?

An authorized organization administrator can set the check-in radius on a plan with geofence controls. Keep the setting aligned with real customer sites and your team’s operating conditions.

Which plans include geofence review?

Growth and Enterprise include field check-in geofence review. Compare the current plans for the full set of analytics and team controls.
